Greenlite has just announced that due to continued business growth the company is moving all its warehousing capabilities to a 3rd party warehousing facility based in Leighton Buzzard.
Over recent months, following a number of high profile business wins, Greenlite has exceeded its current warehousing capacity at Bankhall Park in Warrington. The decision to move operations to a 3rd party warehousing facility rather than looking for larger premises was made as it alleviates the need to again relocate as the business grows. As all stock is despatched nationally there will be no change to the high service levels by despatching stock remotely using fulfilment specialists. The changeover started on the 30th November and was completed on the 23rd December.
All remaining management staff have relocated to the company’s head office in Blackpool
Bob Hall, Greenlite’s MD said: “this was a very big decision for us but undoubtedly the right one. We want to continue to grow the business without any restrictions and warehousing was likely to be a problem in years to come as we require more and more space. The company we are partnering with has the capacity to grow as we do with plenty of capacity we can utilise.”
