Greenlite Lighting Solutions Ltd, the UK’s leading low energy lighting maintenance company based at Blackpool in Lancashire, has just announced huge growth in the number of sites across the UK the company provides lighting and electrical maintenance services for.

In just over a year, Greenlite has expanded its portfolio of sites from 5,500 to over 8,000 which is a growth of over 45%. Much of this growth has been put down to the launch of new services such as funding options but also the increased take up of a wider range of services provided by Greenlite such as emergency lighting maintenance and  testing. These new services have increased the number of sales enquiries from new customers looking to appoint a new supplier or looking at ways to reduce their current lighting and maintenance costs. Greenlite has also invested in a fleet of 16 new vehicles to help support the growth in new business, all of which will be stocked with standard items required to respond quickly to maintenance issues.

A Greenlite spokesman said: “we re-organised the business offering a couple of years ago and made some changes to the way we delivered our services, including providing finance options, and this has made a real difference to the volume of new business enquiries. We are talking to a number of new major UK businesses about the provision of commercial lighting services so hopefully this will not be the last piece of news from us concerning growth.”
