Energy-saving lighting firm supports employee on LIA training course

Greenlite Lighting Solutions, a commercial lighting company, is supporting one of its employees as he gains extra skills through on-the-job training.

Andrew Balmer joined Greenlite as a CAD Designer, but the firm noticed his potential in other areas and enrolled him on theLighting Industries Association (LIA) Lighting Design course.

In his first test, Andrew scored 100% and gained an overall ‘A’ grade for the course. He is now enrolled on the LIA Advanced Course, which will take place in September. The green lighting firm is delighted to be able to offer its employees these learning opportunities.

Bob Hall, Managing Director of the lighting maintenance specialist, Greenlite, says: “We are very proud of Andrew’s achievements – he is a great asset to our company. It’s fantastic to be able to support our employees in gaining additional qualifications while they work with us. Bringing additional skills to our company creates a more dynamic and proficient workforce.”
