Following quickly on the heels of the announcement by Greenlite lighting solutions ltd to offer fixed term leasing on its low energy and environmental lighting solutions, the company today announces that it has been awarded a credit brokerage licence by the office of fair trading which will enable Greenlite to offer fixed term leasing packages to its commercial lighting clients. The licence is due to start on the 15th December 2010 and is valid for an indefinite period.

The agreement is the final piece in the jigsaw to enable Greenlite Lighting Solutions ltd to offer a single source environmental lighting solution to commercial clients covering all aspects of delivering a low energy lighting package from the initial energy consumption audit, through to strategic planning, lighting design, supply, installation and maintenance of the lighting systems and now finally financial support to enable the purchase of all lighting equipment.

Fixed term leasing provides many benefits for commercial customers. Most importantly it enables commercial organisations to purchase the low energy lighting equipment over a fixed time period. For companies who don’t have the funds in reserve, or who have not budgeted for an unknown capital expenditure project, this enables them to buy equipment today that might otherwise take years to fund.
