Greenlite Lighting Solutions, a commercial low-energy lighting company, has helped a client to identify enough reduction in energy use to pay for a new lighting installation.
The specialist in green lighting was asked to conduct a comprehensive energy survey at a store in Edinburgh that was using a large amount of energy. Using this survey, Greenlite created an energy-saving plan for the store, saving the retailer £45,000 per annum.
This decrease in energy costs will enable the store to pay for a complete new low-energy lighting installation, which will be cash-positive immediately. Greenlite, an expert in energy-saving lighting, urges businesses to commission energy surveys to identify the savings they could be making.
Andy Chell, Sales and Marketing Manager at Greenlite Lighting Solutions, says: “Using energy surveys to identify easy energy-saving measures is the ‘low-hanging fruit’ of carbon reduction, unlocking instant savings. These savings can then provide investment for other low-carbon ventures – saving further money!”
