Greenlite Lighting Maintenance, an energy efficient retail lighting expert, is proud that the health and wellbeing of its staff features in its corporate values.
The Greenlite team takes part in a variety of physical activities, which are supported by the green lighting specialist. The firm has its own recommended personal trainer, Alistair Thornton, who runs Core Coach. Alistair promotes the theory that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind, leading to improved productivity amongst staff.
Greenlite firmly believes that promoting fitness is of value to both its employees and its customers. The retail lighting solutions firm, based in the North-West, emphasises how this dedication contributes to its commitment to outstanding customer service, detailed in The Greenlite Experience.
Andy Chell, Sales and Marketing Manager at the company, which also carries out electrical safety checks, says: “It’s well-known that exercise reduces stress, increases endorphins and boosts wellbeing levels. We do whatever we can to create a healthy and happy working environment, which is reflected in how our team interacts with customers.”
He adds: “As a company, we take part in a range of activities, from ice hockey to boot camp exercises. Getting stuck in to sport has shown us that losing weight isn’t the only benefit to getting fit – although that certainly has been a welcome side effect!”
