Greenlite Lighting Maintenance, an low energy lighting specialist, advises firms to only work with maintenance companies that employ fully-qualified engineers.
Andy Chell, Sales and Marketing Manager at the lighting maintenance company, says: “Many lighting companies only employ unqualified lamp technicians to perform maintenance support. This means that if a new lamp does not solve an issue, they have to leave the site and call an electrician. As we also employ Electricians then we can fix faults immediately, even tracing faults back to the mains electricity distribution boards.”
He adds: “As an expert in lighting maintenance, we know how important it is to offer customers a guaranteed first-visit fix rate.”
He says: “Our experience with commercial low-energy lighting means we know that no-fuss, reactive and comprehensive lighting maintenance is vital for effective after-sales care.”
