Greenlite shines a light on workplace wellbeing at IntraLogisteX

The UK’s leading lighting solutions and maintenance business, Greenlite Group will shine a light on energy efficiency and workplace wellbeing strategies at IntraLogisteX.

Taking place on 26th and 27th February at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry the show is free to attend and is widely thought to be the fastest growing annual event for the intralogistics industry. Organisers say it will be packed with everything practitioners need to improve productivity, safety, maximise space and cut costs.

Greenlite’s key focus at the show is the theme of workplace wellbeing. IntraLogisteX presents a perfect opportunity to undertake a major survey in order to establish a link between quality, modern lighting and the health and wellbeing of warehouse staff. Greenlite’s WELL Warehouse Survey is part of a wider awareness campaign entitled How WELL is Your Warehouse which runs throughout the first half of 2019.

Alongside wellbeing, Greenlite’s technical team will be on hand to answer concerns around carbon reduction and general lighting and electrical challenges. For companies who book at the show, a free LED lighting audit can be arranged.

Businesses concerned with day-to-day maintenance of their lighting as well as electrical and lighting compliance challenges (EM Lighting, PAT Tests and EICR) - will also find plenty of support and guidance.

Marketing Manager at Greenlite Group, Franki Johnson says IntraLogisteX is be a perfect opportunity to open up a dialogue on healthier warehouses and the link with personnel productivity:

“There is mounting evidence that the installation of LED lighting can bring significant benefits to the health, alertness and productivity of warehouse personnel. We believe that there is a strong commercial business case for investing in workplace wellbeing in this sector. The vital and essential connection between a healthy workforce and one that is productive needs to on the agenda of every business in this industry.

“We want to use IntraLogisteX to connect with a wider audience. By undertaking a survey of visitors to our stand, we can uncover whether operatives and managers understand this, and how they feel about the lighting and internal environments in their own workplaces. We will publish the results of the survey in 2019.”
