Salix Energy Efficiency Fund opens to academies

The window for applications for the Salix Energy Efficiency Fund (SEEF) is now open to the education sector.

The fund is available to individual academies, sixth form colleges, free schools and Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) across England, with a purpose to reduce energy usage, lower energy bills and improve the learning environment for both staff and students.

The funding doesn’t require any upfront costs – instead the grant is repaid over a period of time based on predicted energy savings. It’s possible to use the funding for over 100 different energy efficiency technologies, including lighting upgrades.

Applications opened on 28th September and close on 30th November 2018.
